Here are some photos from our long weekend. We had a great time with Steve's family and got to (finally) celebrate Christopher's 5th birthday with them. We went bowling, out to dinner at a great local restaurant and then back to our place for cake and coffee. Chris has waited all year for his "Cars" cake. Every time we go to the grocery store, he runs to the "book" in the bakery section and would just stare at the picture of this cake. He has wanted this one for a long time. So glad we were able to get it for him.

Looks like you had a great time. I remember this age...what fun! Thanks for posting the pictures!
Love the pictures...and the Cars cake too. When Avery was three she wanted a Barney cake so badly...of course Barney was not cool anymore and had been removed from all the bakery books in our area. I called every bakery within an hour's drive and finally found one with a Barney cake topper. What we don't do for our children!
Oh how nice......Love the cake too. Can't believe he's already 5 years old!! Just seems like yesterday when you had him. Davey will be having his 5th b.d. soon too. We're gonna have a b.d. party, hopefully you guys can come! I'll let you know.
